Cabot Community Fund (CCF)

WHAT IS THE CABOT COMMUNITY FUND?

The Cabot Community Fund (CCF) allows the CCA to support community-based projects and events that further the mission of the CCA.

HOW IS A GRANT PROCESSED?

The CCA Board of Directors has appointed a committee (Cabot Community Fund Committee) to review and approve all CCF grant requests. In the event the CCF Committee is unable to form a quorum, the CCA Board of Directors has the discretion to review and approve applications at its regularly scheduled board meetings.

The basic procedures have been outlined in the following document for the committee members to reference:

When a grant is approved, the application will receive a Letter of Understanding that must be completed by the CCF Committee and the applicant, then returned to the CCA before funds can be released.

Historically, the Cabot Creamery gave annual grants to select organizations in the community for specific events (i.e Maplefest, etc). The CCA honors that tradition, and those groups do not need to fill out an application and can obtain the legacy grant by filling out a Letter of Understanding for Legacy Grants:
