Cabot Commons — Completed in 2005, these beautiful handicapped-accessible apartments for seniors, located at 36 Glinka Road in Cabot village, offer six one-bedroom units and two two-bedroom units. Contact Sue Carpenter (426-3331) for further information.
Cabot Community Chorus — The Cabot Community Chorus and the Northeast Kingdom Chorus of Greensboro/Craftsbury recently merged under the directorship of Cabot resident Lynn McKinney. New members are welcomed, in all parts. Auditions are not required.
Cabot Community Theater is an inclusive community-oriented theater group, welcoming to people of all ages and levels of experience, from Cabot and beyond. We usually stage one main production in the early spring, with occasional smaller projects and workshops.
Cabot Historical Society — The Cabot Historical Society was founded in the fall of 1965. Cabot Historical Society meetings are held from May until October, and the Main Street museum is open on July Fourth and other times during July and August, or by appointment.
Cabot School Performing Arts Center — Our school music program emphasizes skills based learning through carefully facilitated creative exploration. Students progress and assess their work through an evaluative and revisionary process through the support of faculty and outside mentorship.
Faith in Action — Our overarching mission is to help communities rediscover what they used to know how to do – take care of their own. Our community reinvigorating work produces invaluable peace of mind and in 2014 over $1,200,000 worth of free volunteer-generated economic value for our Vermont families in need.
Front Porch Forum — Front Porch Forum is a free community-building service in Vermont. The Cabot forum is open to the people who live in Cabot. It’s all about helping neighbors connect.
